Join us for an enlightening session on EmpowerED, in partnership with WelBee, where we delve into the latest products and services making waves in the education sector. Hosted by Jonathan Coy, we're thrilled to welcome Mark Solomon, the architect behind Welbee and author of last year's must-read book for school leaders.
Mark shares his unique journey from a 23-year stint in retail banking to making a significant impact in education through cultural leadership and wellbeing. With Welbee, Mark and his team have ventured into hundreds of schools and nearly 50 trusts, introducing a novel approach to enhancing staff wellbeing.
In this session, we explore Welbee's comprehensive platform designed to transform staff wellbeing within schools and trusts. Mark gives us a walkthrough of WellBe's methodology, starting with the internationally recognized survey tool that underpins their approach, recognised in the DfE staff wellbeing education charter.
The focus is not just on gathering data but on actionable insights and ongoing support. Mark discusses how Welbee aids schools in identifying areas needing attention, recommending actions, and embedding wellbeing into their culture. This includes a peek into the Welbee WellBeing toolkit, comprising over 150 resources tailored specifically for educators, and an introduction to Nebula, the world's first personal wellbeing assistant powered by AI for those in education.
We also touch on the challenges schools face today, from managing workload and stress to fostering a culture where staff take ownership of their wellbeing. Mark emphasises the importance of a collaborative approach to wellbeing, where both leaders and staff play active roles.
