The Confidence Crisis in Creative Writing

Jonathan and Lucy talk to Alexander Rosenberg from LinkyThinks.

Alexander Rosenburg is the Founder and Creative Director at LinkyThinks.

Since studying fine art and conducting neuroscience research at Harvard and UCL, Alexander has spent nearly a decade developing educational approaches and resources. He founded LinkyThinks in 2016 to make learning more engaging for children and teenagers. Since then, he has supported hundreds of families, teachers and schools to do the same and his illustrated resources are used internationally.

We discuss:

  •  Why teachers find it hard to teach creative writing.
  • How teachers can develop their teaching of creative writing.
  • Why some children struggle.
  • How we can encourage children to write creatively
